A non-voting membership option for those looking to connect with their fellow creatives in the US and feel part of a global community at the same time.

Want to become part of a vibrant community of creatives? BAFTA North America Professional membership lets you connect with a global network of film, games and TV professionals all from your home base in North America.

What is BAFTA North America Professional Membership?

It’s a specific membership creating space for creatives in North America to connect with their peers and celebrate and support the talent of local industries.

Who can become a BAFTA North America Professional Member?

If you have a minimum of five years of experience working in film, games or TV in North America, you are welcome to apply if you:

  • Work in the production of film, games or TV
  • Work in the distribution, publishing or broadcasting of film, games or TV
  • Work in other fields directly related to film, games or TV, including research, festivals, teaching

  • BAFTA North America Professional membership is $330 annually. A one-off joining fee of $150 will also be charged to new members.

  • We’re currently accepting applications. Apply for North America Professional membership by 31 March 2026.

  • BAFTA has always believed in being open about what data we collect from our members and what we do with it. Find out more in our membership privacy policy.

  • Only those living and working in North America or Canada are eligible to apply for BAFTA North America Professional Membership.

  • No, North America Professional members do not vote in our Awards. If you’re interested in voting, please consider applying to Full voting membership.
