Aisha Cabanillas

Aisha Cabanillas is a first-generation Latina, who attends the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communications at CSUN. She is a proud member of the 2024 Women in Entertainment Cohort. Aisha is also a 2025 BAFTA Bridge Scholar. Aisha’s passion for film started at a young age and only continues to grow.

“I am overjoyed to be a part of this program and can’t wait for what’s in store for me. I know this program will allow me to meet with passionate, creative minds who can teach me so much about this exciting world that never stops creating”, she said.

She aspires to be a director/producer with an emphasis on diversity and social issues that aren’t widely spoken about or acknowledged on screen. Aisha has a certification in Premiere Pro. She has experience in directing, pre-production, and postproduction. Aisha hopes her films will allow people to find comfort, as they see themselves on screen.
