Elena Moreno

Elena Moreno was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Moreno has always had her eye set on the TV industry and is sharpening and developing her skill set at Cal State Fullerton, where she attends as a Cinema & Television Arts Major. Moreno is also president of an on-campus student organization, the Subculture Music Club (SMC), where she began as the club photographer/historian but quickly rose through the ranks of the board due to her commitment, creativity, and on-set mindset.

Moreno’s relationship with BAFTA began in her junior year of high school, when she was recommended for an internship program by a mentor. Moreno was exposed to many facets of the industry, primarily film programming, interviewing, and content creation for BAFTA North America’s social media. Moreno’s ultimate goal is to create television where all girls of color feel their stories are being told with care, quality, and honor.
