Genesis Chinchilla

Genesis Chinchilla is currently a Cinematic Arts major at the California State University of Long Beach with a passion for film and entertainment. She has had the opportunity to join a video production internship, further deepening her passion for the entertainment industry. She wishes to focus on exploring her abilities, connect with others, and discovering how she can facilitate this through stories and media.

When it comes to why Genesis wanted to be apart of the Vance Byrd Mentorship program, she said: “I believe that this program will help me grow and push me to experience new things. This is the right opportunity for me to demonstrate my love for the area and how dedicated I am in pursuing it.”

In her free time, Genesis loves to relax by playing games on her Switch or by doing a deep dive into Thrillers and Dramas. If she is not watching/playing anything, Genesis enjoys picking up a camera and capturing the world through photo or video.
