Oscar Zenteno Marquez

Oscar Zenteno Marquez is a freshman at California State University, Northridge. He is majoring in film production. He is interested in cinematography and editing. A short film he shot and edited reached 82,000 views on YouTube. He also received an honorable mention regionally at Directing Change for a suicide prevention PSA he created. He is interested in pursuing a career in the film industry.

In 10 years, Oscar sees himself working as a Director of Photography on TV shows and short films. He hopes that through the Vance Byrd Mentorship program he can build a sense of stability by having a strong network of people that can support him in his career.
